	Hi everyone, my name is Lisa Ma. I am the tenth grade teacher and I used to work in the semiconductor industry. Since I came to the United States, I have been teaching at Northwest Suburban Chinese School for fifteen years. I love teaching students and I am really interested in education. I have a lot of teaching experience, and I have three children who are also learning and growing together in this school. I'm very happy to meet you here. Our school is like a big family helping each other. I hope I can have the opportunity to contribute to the school and serve more people, so that our next generation has a better learning environment. 	My name is Sharon Huang and my 3 kids have attended CNSCS since 2017, when my eldest was in Pre-K. My husband and I really appreciate all of the staff members of the school for fostering an enjoyable environment for our kids to learn Chinese language and culture. I have 3 years of prior experience on this board as the Director of Education (DOE) for Activities. I am humbled to be partnering with Lisa to serve as Co-Principal this year, looking forward to working with all other dedicated board members to further contribute to this wonderful community. 	Hi everyone! My name is Bing Bourdage and I am the Secretary for CNSCS. I have 3 daughters, Joi Mei, Jolie and Jocelyn and have been part of CNSCS since 2016. I went to Chinese school growing up and really appreciate finding CNSCS for my children to learn to speak Mandarin, learn about our Chinese culture, traditions, festivals, and community. I am honored to serve on the CNSCS Board to help school communications and meetings and to provide and assist the school, the board members and parents to have the most successful school year. 	My name is Canny Chen, and my twins have been attending CNSCS since 2022. My husband CK has been participating in adult basketball and coaching the Lion Dance team for the annual Lunar Year celebration. I'm a CPA and honored to serve as Board Co-Treasurer this year to assist with the school finances. We love to be a part of the CNSCS community!

	My son is currently an 8th grader at CNSCS. My daughter is in 1st grade and followed her brother's step to join the school. CNSCS is a small school, which I love it, because it's easier to know every kid, parent, and teacher, just like a big family where we try to share our culture and language with our kids. It's my pleasure to work with our dedicated teachers and volunteers at CNSCS. I hope that I can serve the teachers with what they need and hope to recruit more teachers or teacher-in-training.

	Hello Everyone! My name is Wayne Hsueh. I am honored to serve as the Co-Director of Education at CNSCS. My role is to ensure all communications between teachers and the school are properly communicated to guarantee smooth operations in each class. In addition, I also provide assistance to teachers such as finding teacher substitutes if they are not available to teach and supply school materials for their classes. I have a family of 4. My wife, 2 boys – Wesley (10 years old) and Stanley (4 years old) and myself. Wesley is currently in 6th grade and has been with CNSCS since 2022. We are planning to have Stanley join CNSCS soon! Welcome all to CNSCS and I look forward to seeing everyone!

	My name is Quan Ahlstrand, and I’m the Director of Extra Curriculum. Our family has been a part of CNSCS since 2013. My oldest daughter started attending CNSCS when she was 3 years old in the toddler class. She is currently in the 8th grade. My middle daughter is a 1st grader. They both enjoy learning Mandarin and the culture especially doing the arts and crafts. One of their favorite parts of Chinese school is dancing in the Chinese New Year Show and watching everyone else. They are mesmerized by the lion dance! I appreciate all of the teamwork of the volunteer parents who make this school educational and fun for the children. We hope to see you and your family at CNSCS soon!

	Hi everyone! I’m Calvin, proud dad of two boys — a 6th grader and a 5th grader here at CNSCS. Both of my sons were born in Taiwan and came to the U.S. before starting elementary school. CNSCS holds a special place in my heart — I was a teaching assistant here during my freshman year of high school back in 1995, so it’s truly meaningful to return to the same school as a parent now! This year, I’m serving on the Board in the Public Relations role, continuing from my wife Corrine who held this position in 2024. I’ll be helping manage school activity announcements, fundraising updates, and social media communications on Facebook to share our students’ wonderful moments and school spirit. Looking forward to connecting with everyone and contributing to our amazing CNSCS community!

	Hi everyone - I am Richard and am the Social Activities Director for the Chicago Northwest Suburban Chinese School (CNSCS). I am responsible for organizing the various social events and activities for CNSCS, such as the Back-to-School Party, the Chinese New Year Celebration, and the End-of-Year Party. I will endeavor to serve the teachers and staff as well as the students and their families to make CNSCS the best Chinese Language school in the Chicagoland region. 	My child has been attending Chinese Northwest Suburban Chinese School (CNSCS) since 2017. I am proud to serve as your Director of Operations and looking forward to ensure that we have a smooth and efficient operation. CNSCS is a not-for-profit and cooperative organization. Volunteerism is an important factor that has kept our school going strong for the last almost 40 years. Thanks to all the wonderful teachers and staff that helped my kids in developing their language skills and knowledge in the last few years. 	Hello everyone! 大家好! My name is Kurtis Chang and I am the Director of Information Technology. I am honored to serve on the CNSCS board to help this amazing school and its mission. My wife Karen and I have three rambunctious little boys: Caleb, Lucas, and Brady. All of our children attend CNSCS (2nd, 5th, and 8th grades), following in my footsteps since I had attended a nearby Chinese school held in Schaumburg when growing up (although hopefully focusing on learning instead of on playing basketball like I did). Our family tries to visit Taiwan every few years to let the kids see their grandparents and other relatives and, just as importantly, to learn and absorb the Chinese culture. As for my regular work, I am a system architect and chief engineer of electronic warfare products at Northrop Grumman Corporation located in the neighboring city of Rolling Meadows, where I volunteer on the Asian Pacific Professional Network and have led annual conference planning committees. I hope to see everyone at CNSCS !
